Have you ever wanted to buy a weekly planner for the year that is about to end, but just haven't found one with an exorbitant-enough price tag, or that will ship barely in enough time to use on New Year's Eve?
Well, have I got a deal for you! Introducing the Moleskine (not exactly an attractive brand name) 2008 Weekly Pocket Planner! Available now on Amazon for the high, high price of $74.99! It "usually ships in 1 to 3 weeks", so you can possibly be assured that it hopefully will arrive before the year ends if you buy now!

Alright, seriously? Seventy-five dollars? This thing better make my plans and execute them for me, at that price. This isn't some gadgety electronicky newfangled weekly planner, either. No, this is a stack of paper. With a cover and a little elastic strap to hold it shut lest it fly open and reveal your weekly plans to the neighborhood. One of the sample pictures is pretty confusing, too. Could anyone tell me how drawings of various seashells are supposed to convince people to shell out $75 for what is essentially a glorified notebook?
But hey, free shipping. I would buy it just to be ironic, but even a sense of irony has its limits.
