You may have wondered in the past, as many have, what exactly Sarah Palin brings to John McCain's ticket. Well, wonder no more:
As seen at recent McCain events, this afternoon's crowd was vocal in their support for McCain and their anger with Senator Obama. At one point one man could be heard yelling, "Off with his head," when McCain spoke about Obama's tax plan. That enthusiasm was even more present during Palin's remarks, and as other observers have reported in the past, today there was a sizeable number of people making their way towards the exit after McCain's running mate left the podium.
Not only is this lynch mob talk that McCain/Palin are provoking and encouraging, but this particular bit is particularly old school lynch mob talk. When was the last time someone was beheaded in the USA? Has anyone ever been beheaded in the USA?
Also, look at the wording of the article. It subtly implies that the red above is not even the worst of it, as there was reportedly "even more" "enthusiasm" while Palin was up there.
For the good of this country, these people had better be plants. If not, McCain is starting to get to the point of inciting violence, which is illegal and should damned well disqualify a Presidential candidate, for crying out loud. McCain's making it clear that trying to get his supporters angry enough to lynch his opponent is not off the table.
Oh, and someone called Obama a traitor during a rally immediately after McCain repeated his LIE (in all caps to partially make up for all the cowards in the media and elsewhere afraid to call a lie a lie lest they offend) about Obama voting to raise taxes on families making only $42,000 a year, but hey, what's a bit of accused treason compared to calling for 17th-century-style execution?
