FactCheck has already taken on McCain's baseless allegations about ACORN when it fact-checked the final debate. This time, they've focused on ACORN. Here is a snippet from it, which is repeated in the initial ACORN post:
Neither ACORN nor its employees have been found guilty of, or even charged with, casting fraudulent votes. What a McCain-Palin Web ad calls "voter fraud" is actually voter registration fraud. Several ACORN canvassers have been found guilty of faking registration forms and others are being investigated. But the evidence that has surfaced so far shows they faked forms to get paid for work they didn’t do, not to stuff ballot boxes.
I'm also going to update the post from earlier, since it's probably easier to take in this new information if I repeat some of it in the update post, rather than just pointing people back to the bottom of the initial post every time.
